After the Bills scored a touchdown to go up 20-10, the Jets needed a spark going into halftime.
Naturally, they turned to Aaron Rodgers, who is the master of the Hail Mary. With time winding down in the half, vintage Rodgers popped out and showed the Bills that he could still get the ball downfield.
This was epic, and another reminder that while Rodgers might not have every pitch in the bag, he’s still got the fastball. It’s an incredible catch by Allen Lazard as well, who goes up and gets it over everyone else.
This almost was a controversial call, as well. After the ball was caught, one ref signaled incomplete. However, the side judge came in and ruled it a touchdown and after conversing with each other, upheld that ruling.
Rodgers now has four Hail Mary touchdowns in his career, which has to be the most for a single player of all time. He puts so much arc on the ball that it just falls into his receivers’ hands. What a player.
